I am pleased to report that H.3869, An Act Establishing Massachusetts Right Whale Day, has been reported favorably out of Committee! A sincere thank you to Matt Delaney, a resident of Pembroke, for his hard work in collaborating with us on this legislation. Matt approached my office last year with the idea for this legislation to advocate for the awareness and protection of this rare and endangered species. Matt has worked tirelessly over the past months to drum up support for this legislation from various environmental groups and stakeholders. Thank you Matt!
