Grant Opportunity for second round of MassDEP’s PFAS6 Interim Response Grant Program

Please find the Notice of Grant Opportunity for the second round of MassDEP’s PFAS6 Interim Response Grant Program. This grant program provides funds, including reimbursement for costs and expenses already incurred, to impacted public water systems (PWS) for measures taken to immediately respond to a discovery of PFAS6 contamination in the drinking water supply prior to implementing a long-term treatment plan.

The goal of Round 2 of the PFAS6 Interim Response Grant Program is to provide grant funds for reimbursement of previously incurred costs associated with a PWS’s immediate response to PFAS6 contamination in its drinking water supply. The grant application deadline is February 1, 2022 by 5PM.
