Pleased to deliver this $228,810.67 check to the town of Hanson today to fund PPE for Hanson Police and Fire, a contactless checkout system for the Hanson Public Library, new ebook and digital streaming service offerings to meet increased demand for remote library services, and an upgraded secure server network for town buildings. The funds are part of the Plymouth County CARES program. Grateful to our partners at the County for their efficient administration of these Federal reimbursement dollars to ensure they flow back to our cities and towns and help reduce the burden caused by COVID-19. Thank you to Selectman Matt Dyer and Town Administrator John Stanbrook for joining me today and for all the work that went into these submissions by the town. Also want to recognize my good colleague Sen. Mike Brady for his support of this program as well.
