I would like to thank Senator Markey for recently announcing federal funding opportunities from the Department of Transportation (DOT) to reconnect communities by removing, retrofitting, or mitigating transportation infrastructure, and also from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to advance marine habitat restoration and coastal resilience and protection.
