I am pleased to share that on Wednesday, December 7th, the Town of Hanson was awarded $60,000 for the Community One Stop For Growth Award for the town's master plan update.
Created in the 2021 economic development bill, the Community Planning Grant Program provides technical assistance for activities related to land use, including assisting communities in the development of a Master Plan, Housing Production Plan, Zoning Review and Updates, Urban Renewal Plan, Land Use Plan, Downtown Plan, Parking Management Plan, Feasibility Study, or Other Strategic Plan. The program awards over $2.3 million across 40 projects.
