South Shore Tech School signups for Carpentry, Culinary, Manufacturing, and HVAC program

South Shore Technical School has opened signups for their new Career Technical Initiative (CTI) program which begins February 13th with offerings in four areas: Carpentry, Culinary, Manufacturing, and HVAC.

This is a free 15 week program geared for high school graduates and recent adults. Funds will be allocated to help students with transportation and students may receive gas cards, vouchers, and other incentives to support them during the process.

CTI is a state funded program designed to expand capacity of our existing tech schools. As the House Labor Chair I was proud to help lead a significant funding boost for the CTI line item this session and I'm delighted to see it now having a positive impact locally on the South Shore.
