I am reaching out in regard to the district's involvement in the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. A statewide Commission, established by statute, has been created to plan and celebrate this historic event, with the main festivities taking place in Massachusetts in 2025 and 2026.
The Commission is excited to get municipalities, historical societies, reenactors, and all interested citizens of the Commonwealth involved in the celebrations. Some communities may already be planning events with local historical societies or other groups, but they wanted to collect contact information from any group that is interested in planning or participating in events for the 250th.
